VAT & TAXES

EU - VAT

We are now registered with IOSS. So for EU customers VAT is now reflected in the price shown for each product. This is automatically calculated based on the VAT percentage charged for each individual EU country. If the order is under £130 GBP, Cosmic Brushes will be the importer and we will be responsible for any customs formalities. Cosmic Brushes will account for the VAT on its EU VAT return which will now be paid to your government directly, by us. So there are no hidden taxes when receiving your order, and an all round faster clearance time through customs. Please note the threshold for the IOSS scheme is £130 GBP. If your Orders exceeds this amount, you will be the importer on record and will be responsible for paying any additional import duties and taxes.

To see how much the tax is, please see "Including € x,xx in taxes" under the Total amount at the last stage of checkout.

We currently operate by a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis - Except for those covered by the IOSS in the EU. Orders may be subject to import duties and local taxes. These are to be paid directly to your government. We advise checking what the percentage is for your country or state, along with checking for any additional handling fees they may charge.

Please note, if you refuse your parcel due to not wanting to pay the customs charges, we cannot refund your order until it has returned to us. We may also deducted any fees incurred to us, such as the shipping costs, from your refund.

Please also note, in some instances your local government may opt to destroy the parcel instead of returning it to us. If this happens we will not be able to refund your order. Please keep all of this in mind when ordering.
